What are Common Areas of Repair?

If the Crown Wash needs to be rebuilt, the old cement will be removed and the support material below can either be repaired or replaced.



Mold forms are set in place and a substructure of rebar and wire cloth are placed into the mold area. Cement and FiberMesh^tm are then mixed and poured down the mold.





Every 10" by 20" area of the chimney crown requires 100 pounds of mortar. An average chimney, 24" by 62" will require more than 600 pounds of cement which must be taken up to the roof ONE BUCKET AT A TIME.
